Old Bordon wasn't such a bad place.  In 1919 (above) the High Street was just a country lane.

 

 

Even in 1960 the High Street was rather modest.  But look at it now- road widening, traffic and dereliction has set in (below) and (bottom) Bordon is on the way to becoming Tesco Town.
